We have reached the maximum number of committed projects for this year’s Lawn to Garden program and are only accepting funding applications on a first come-first served basis based off of our program wait list. Only applications that are verified as coming from wait-list applicants will be approved.   • Lawn to Garden incentive payment amount will be based solely on the LBWD post-inspection measurements after the project has been completed. The incentive amount will not be based on the calculation from the designer nor the property owner’s own measurements before the project starts. LBWD is not responsible for any discrepancies between the LBWD post-inspection measurements and the measurements from the landscape designer.

    • I agree to waive, release, relinquish and discharge LBWD, its officials and employees from all liability, loss, claims, demands, causes of action, and damage arising out of my participation in this Program.
    • I give Long Beach Water Department the right to use the design of the L2G landscaped area as well as descriptions of it, and before- and after-photos and videos of it, for the purpose of promoting drought tolerant landscapes. This promotion could be in the form of videos, print, web, and/or other venues.
